Twenty-Fourth Sunday After Pentecost: Bottom Line Spirituality

Unlocking the Gospel Secrets of Spirituality

Discover what difference reading these scriptures while Thinking Leaglism or Feeling Grace can make.

The Grace Language of Jesus

SPIRITUALITY CAN CHANGE OUR LIFE

Jesus took legalistic words and gave them the grace meaning to consciously feel the difference being in the Presence of God in Him.

Legalism is idolatry, depending on something outside ourselves to get what God has already given to us inside our selves. Grace is self-correcting.

Romans 9:31 - but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal.

When no one is watching, grace lives as if someone is!

Think Legalism: “Sins” are immoral acts that cause separation from God.

Feel Grace: “Sins” are immoral acts that are caused by separation from God.

OLD TESTAMENT: Isaiah 1:10-18

Think Legalism: Though your sins were like scarlet, they shall be like snow.
Feel Grace: Though your sins were like scarlet, they shall be like snow.

There is no measurement for darkness, just a measurement for how much light exists!

Think Legalism: “Happiness” comes from being forgiven.

Feel Grace: “Happiness” comes from feeling God’s Forgiveness.

PSALM: 32:1-7

Think Legalism: Happy are those to whom the LORD imputes no iniquity.
Feel Grace: Happy are those to whom the LORD imputes no iniquity.

Honk if you love Jesus or text if you want to meet him!

Think Legalism: “to you” comes from afar.

Feel Grace: “to you” comes from feeling within.

EPISTLE: 2 Thessalonians 1:1-4, 11-12

Think Legalism: Grace to you and Peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Feel Grace: Grace to you and Peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Grace measures Peace in us with a tape around our heart, not around the head!

Think Legalism: “Look” is to see physically.

Feel Grace: “Look” is to feel spiritually.

GOSPEL: Luke 19:1-10

Think Legalism: “Look, half of my possessions, Lord, I will give to the poor;”.
Feel Grace: “Look, half of my possessions, Lord, I will give to the poor;”.

The forecast is when grace is reigning, the Son shining!
