Twenty-First Sunday After Pentecost: Bottom Line Spirituality

Unlocking the Gospel Secrets of Spirituality

Discover what difference reading these scriptures while Thinking Leaglism or Feeling Grace can make.

The Grace Language of Jesus

SPIRITUALITY CAN CHANGE OUR LIFE

Jesus took legalistic words and gave them the grace meaning to consciously feel the difference being in the Presence of God in Him.

Legalism is idolatry, depending on something outside ourselves to get what God has already given to us inside our selves. Grace is self-correcting.

Romans 8:3 - For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son.

Never mistake legalism for grace. One wants you to make a living, the other helps you make a life!

Think Legalism: “Says” is audible.

Feel Grace: “Says” is consciously felt.

OLD TESTAMENT: Jeremiah 29:1, 4-7

Think Legalism: Thus says the LORD of hosts.
Feel Grace: Thus says the LORD of hosts.

Grace is not forgetting the past, but refusing to pick it up again!

Think Legalism: “The works of the LORD” are what we see physically.

Feel Grace: “The works of the LORD” are what we feel spiritually.

PSALM: 111

Think Legalism: Great are the works of the LORD.
Feel Grace: Great are the works of the LORD.

Grace turns stumbling legalism into a straight path!

Think Legalism: “Remember” is to recall the event.

Feel Grace: “Remember” is to feel the event.

EPISTLE: 2 Timothy 2:8-15

Think Legalism: Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead-that is my gospel.
Feel Grace: Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead-that is my gospel.

Losing money is not the same as being lost and being broke is not the same as being broken!

Think Legalism: Praising God is an external sound.

Feel Grace: Praising God is an internal feeling.

GOSPEL: Luke 17:11-19

Think Legalism: Praising God with a loud voice.
Feel Grace: Praising God with a loud voice.

Having less doesn't mean you are less!
