Worldly life sees the glory to feel His Presence.
Godly life feels His Presence to see His glory.
Worldly sees the Spirit as a separate being apart from us.
Godly experiences the Spirit as a part in us.
OLD TESTAMENT: Acts 2:4
Worldly: | All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit. |
Godly: | All of them were filled in the Holy Spirit. |
Worldly sees God's acts as specific and physical.
Godly experiences God's acts as continuous and spiritual.
PSALM: 104:24-34, 35b
Worldy: | O LORD, how manifold are your works! |
Godly: | O LORD how manifold are your works in us! |
Worldly: saying “Jesus” is a rational act.
Godly: saying “Jesus” is a spiritual act.
EPISTLE: 1 Corinthians 12:3b-13
Worldy: | No one can say "Jesus is Lord" except by the Holy Spirit. |
Godly: | No one can spiritually say "Jesus is Lord" except in the Holy Spirit. |
Worldly: peace comes to us because something peaceful has happened.
Godly: something peaceful has happened because Peace is in us.
