Worldly, the present event is caused by the past spiritual event.

Godly, the present event is caused by the spiritual Presence.

OLD TESTAMENT: Exodus 24:29-35

Worldly: The skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God.
Godly: The skin of his face shone because He was spiritually talking with God.

Worldly, great is because of what He did.

Godly, great is because of what who He is.

PSALM: 99

Worldy: The LORD is great in Zion;
Godly: The LORD is spiritually great in Zion;

Worldly, the rational head is hardened to spirituality.

Godly, the spiritual heart knows the difference between being in or out of the Presence.

EPISTLE: 2 Corinthians 3:12-4:2

Worldy: Their minds were hardened. Indeed, to this very day, when they hear the reading of the old covenant, that same veil is still there.
Godly: Their minds were hardened spiritually. Indeed, to this very day, when they hear the reading of the old covenant, that same veil is still there.

Worldly, They are talking about His physical departure.

Godly, Glory means His spiritual departure.

GOSPEL: Luke 9:28-36, (37-43a)

Worldly: Moses and Elijah appeared in glory and were speaking of his departure.
Godly: Moses and Elijah appeared in glory and were speaking of his spiritual departure.
