Worldly does the word to feel His Love.

Godly feels the Word to do His Love.

Worldly listens with the head.

Godly wonders in the heart.

OLD TESTAMENT: Acts 16:9-15

Worldly: The Lord opened her heart to listen eagerly to what was said by Paul.
Godly: The Lord opened her heart to spiritually listen eagerly to what was said by Paul.

Worldly looks to what is done to see the face of God.

Godly senses the face of God to see what He does.

PSALM: 67

Worldy: May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah.
Godly: May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine in our heart and upon us, Selah.

Worldly looks for a physical sign.

Godly feels the spiritual sign.

EPISTLE: Revelation 21:10, 22-22:5

Worldy: I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.
Godly: I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb dwelling in my heart.

Worldly believes the word is rational.

Godly knows the Word is spiritual.

GOSPEL: John 14:23-29

Worldly: The word that you hear is not mine, but is from the Father who sent me.
Godly: The word that you spiritually hear is not mine, but is from the Father who spiritually sent me.
