Worldly, God reigns physically in the world.

Godly, God reigns spiritually in all of us.

OLD TESTAMENT: Isaiah 52:7-10

Worldly: Your God reigns.
Godly: Your God reigns spiritually in your heart.

 

Worldly breaks forth into song to please God.

Godly breaks forth into song because God is pleased.

PSALM: 98

Worldy: Break forth into joyous song and sing praises.
Godly: Break forth spiritually your the heart into joyous song and sing praises.

 

Worldly listens to God’s Son to know Him.

Godly knows God’s Son to listen to Him.

EPISTLE: Hebrews 1:1-4

Worldy: In these last days He has spoken to us by a Son.
Godly: In these last days He has spoken to us spiritually by a Son.

 

Worldly knows God’s word to know God.

Godly knows His word is God.

GOSPEL: John 1:1-14

Worldly: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Godly: In the beginning spiritually was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
