Pentecost XXI: Bottom Line Spirituality

Unlocking the Gospel Secrets of Spirituality

Discover what difference reading these scriptures in a Worldly or a Godly way make.

THE LANGUAGE OF THE SPIRIT

Spiritual language is natural, conscious and innate. It is not something we learn, it is something we discover. This language is not rationally taught but consciously remembered.

Take time to sense the godly Presence within when a spiritual word is added to the rational, worldly reading of scripture.

Worldly follows a path of law. Godly follows a style of grace.

OLD TESTAMENT: Isaiah 53:6

Worldly: All we like sheep have gone astray
Godly: All we like sheep have spiritually gone astray

Worldly seeks to be guarded physically against the world. Godly seeks to be guarded spiritually in the world.

PSALM: 91:9-16

Worldy: He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways
Godly: He will command his angels concerning you to spiritually guard you in all your ways

Worldly follow the law to obey God. Godly spiritually obey God to follow the law.

EPISTLE: Hebrews 5:10

Worldy: He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him.
Godly: He became the source of eternal salvation for all who spiritually obey Him.

Worldly seeks to move to a position of His Presence. Godly seeks to be open to a condition of His Presence.

GOSPEL: Mark 10:35-45

Worldly: "Grant us to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your glory."
Godly: "Grant us to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your spiritual glory."
