It is essential to know we will think differently when IN the GODLY Peace of God than when WORLDLY OUT and feeling disturbed.

OLD TESTAMENT Isaiah 50:4-9

Worldly: "I know how to sustain the weary with a word."
Godly: "Spiritually, I know how to sustain the weary with a word."

PSALM 116:1-8

Worldy: "He inclined His ear to me whenever I called upon Him."
Godly: "He inclined His ear to me whenever I consciously called upon Him."

EPISTLE: James 3:1-12

Worldy: "With the tongue we bless the Lord and with it we curse others."
Godly: "In our heart we bless the Lord with our tongue and in our head we curse others."

GOSPEL: Mark 8:27-38

Worldly: "You are setting your mind not on divine things but on human things."
Godly: "You are setting your mind not consciously on divine things but rationally on human things."
