Pentecost

Unlocking the Gospel Secrets of Spirituality

Discover what difference reading these scriptures while Thinking Legalism or Feeling Grace can make.

The Grace Language of Jesus

SPIRITUALITY CAN CHANGE OUR LIFE

Jesus spoke a foreign language. He took literal words the legalist understood and gave them a new spiritual meaning.

Worldly legalism can only think literally. Godly Grace knows the spiritual difference.

Legalism chooses the laws they like. Grace knows only one law, “Love one another as I have loved you.”

Grace is so shy, that if you begin talking about it literally, it disappears spiritually.

OLD TESTAMENT: Acts 2:1-21

Literal Religion : “together” is physically together.

Read this scripture literally for its religious meaning.

“When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.”

Spiritual Grace: “together” is spiritually together.

Now quietly move into God's Presence and read this scripture again.

“When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.”

Did you feel the Grace?

Legalism is too poor to give a compliment. Grace is too rich not to give a compliment!

PSALM: 104:24-34, 35b

Literal Religion: Blesses God rationally to feel spiritually what He has done.

Read this scripture literally for its religious meaning.

“Bless the LORD, O my soul! Praise the LORD!”

Spiritual Grace: Blesses God spiritually feeling His Love in who He is.

Now quietly move into God's Presence and read this scripture again.

“Bless the LORD, O my soul! Praise the LORD!”

Did you feel the Grace?

The Law conquers the heart for legalism. Grace conquers the heart for Love!

EPISTLE: 1 Corinthians 12:3b-13

Literal Religion: does not know the difference between rationally and spiritually saying Jesus is Lord.

Read this scripture literally for its religious meaning.

“No one can say ‘Jesus is Lord’ except by the Holy Spirit.”

Spiritual Grace: Knows saying “Jesus is Lord” can be both rational and spiritual.

Now quietly move into God's Presence and read this scripture again.

“No one can say ‘Jesus is Lord’ except by the Holy Spirit.”

Did you feel the Grace?

Legalism is telling God that his grace is not sufficient!

GOSPEL: John 7:37-39

Literal Religion: thinks “thirst” physical first and then spiritual.

Read this scripture literally for its religious meaning.

“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”

Spiritual Grace: knows “thirst” is spiritual first and then physical.

Now quietly move into God's Presence and read this scripture again.

“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”

Did you feel the Grace?

Do not let legalism walk through your mind with its dirty feet!
