What do we do with the words of Jesus about Moses? Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness. So must the Son of Man be lifted up so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life. Some see this as Jesus being lifted up on the cross. The serpent represents sin. Jesus took on our sin on the cross to save us. The problem here, is trying to fit one's theology into the scripture rather than have the scripture define our theology. Read more

In one Dimensional Spirituality, relationship fights are caused by low moods. Each of you is trying to change the others mood so you can have a high mood. When one is in a low mood, you try to get the other in a low mood by fighting over something "stupid". Each of you thinks if they can get the other person to agree with them, they will find peace. Common Sense About Your Anger

We must recognize the common sense that there is only one cause for our anger. It is our thoughts and how we think about the event. When we experience a negative event, what we think about the event creates our feeling of anger. This is hard to believe unless you personally can discover it for yourself. You cannot just read about it. If you have doubts, you have to use your own person experience of anger to have the common sense to discover where it comes from. Read more
